On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be next seen in the sci-fi trilogy 'Brahmastra', which is set to release in theatres on September 9, 2022. Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy are also part of the star cast. The film's story which is based on Indian mythology has been constructed as a trilogy with the first part will follow the protagonist Shiva (Ranbir), who is in love with Isha (Alia). The second and third parts of 'Brahmastra' are due in 2024 and 2026, according to Variety.
Alia Bhatt has a series of films lined up for 2022. Alia will also be seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani', 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', 'Darlings', 'RRR' and 'Takht'. On the other hand, speaking of Ranveer Singh, the actor will be next seen in the film '83', which is scheduled to hit the big screen this Christmas. The movie revolves around India's historical 1983 Cricket World Cup win. It stars Ranveer in the role of the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev.
