A few weeks ago, the makers of the Prabhas's starrer magnum opus âAdipurush' had release the much-awaited trailer of the film. The film's trailer had met with mixed reactions from everyone. Today, the film's director Om Raut took to social media and announced the relase date of the film as June 16, 2023.

In his post on social media, Om Raut stated, "Adipurush is not a film, but a representation of our devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram and commitment towards our Sanskrit and history. In order to give a complete visual experience to the viewers, we need to give more time to the teams working on the film. Adipurush will now release on June 16, 2023. We are committed to make a film that India will be proud of. Your support, love and blessings is what keeps us going. - Om Raut."

âAdipurush', which has been inspired by âRamayana', stars Prabhas (in the role of Lord Ram), Saif Ali Khan (in the role of Lankeshwar/ Raavana) and Kriti Sanon (in the role of Sita mata). The film has been planned to be released in multiple languages.
