The Indian version of the X Factor was unveiled yesterday at a hotel in Bandra. The international show, developed by Simon Cowell, gives viewers the opportunity to choose the next musical megastar. The Indian jury for the show will include Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Shreya Ghosal and Sonu Nigam, while Aditya Narayan will host it.
The contestants who survive the first auditions will graduate to 'boot camp' and will then be divided into three categoriesu00a0-- 16 to 25 years, individuals over 25 years. The contestants' talent will be tested mercilessly until the top acts remain.u00a0 The auditions will play all days of the week from May 29 to June 4 and the galas will start from June 10 with the top 12 finalists, every Friday and Saturday.
