"Since I have written many courtroom dramas like Kasoor (2001) and Jurm (2005), I have had the experience of directing and drafting the role of a lawyer. So, I had these characters from my previous movies as references," he says, before adding, "I went to the courtrooms to study lawyers' body language, and their behaviour."

Beaming with pride, the filmmaker says being directed by his daughter for the series is an experience he will cherish for years to come. "Krishna is quite independent and somewhat of a control freak. I was a little worried initially, but as we continued the shoot, I realised it was a good trait because she knows exactly what she wants," says Bhatt.

A seasoned filmmaker himself, Bhatt says he would share his wisdom with his daughter during the shoot. "We had some banter on sets in the first few days, but I believe that it's important to let each one learn through their experience. She worked around the scenes herself, but if she did get stuck, she used to reach out to me for my views."
