Neha Dhupia, has declared war. At gunpoint will be any male face that hasn't seen the razor as often as it should. We spoke to Neha, who along with Mugdha Godse and Minnisha Lamba was present at the W A L S (Women Against Lazy Stubbles) campaign promoted by Gillete. Here's what she has to say:
Lazy buddies
We are sick of the slobs that men have become. So we have decided not to put in so much effort in grooming ourselves till the men in our lives get their acts together. They need to shape themselves up.
Eyes do it all
There is this misconception that the brooding look comes from sporting a stubble. However, this is not so. It comes from the eyes, not that bit of sandpaper on their jaws.
And mind you, George Clooney is a Greek God. So my stubble comments do not apply to him.
Stubble trouble
I remember when my brother was training at the Army Officers' Training Academy. The clean-shaven look was the rule. However once he didn't realize that his stubble had sprouted overnight, and got serious punishment for not shaving.
Patient of
I'm not going to be easy on my man. I am strict and will only give him alternate weekends off from shaving. A bit of a cheek-rub with a two-day-old stubble is always good funu2026 Beards are just fine. My father has always had one. But no lazy stubbles, please.
Doing the deed
If it is for a shot in a film, I would like to shave off Abhishek Bachchan's stubble. But I must say, it looks great on him!
