A video shared by Parineeti Chopra's fan club on Twitter shows Parineeti and Alia Bhatt wishing their mutual friend on birthday.
When Alia Bhatt asks Parineeti Chopra if she has any tips for their friend, Parineeti says, "Eat less... and become thin."
Shocked? Alia Bhatt, too, seemed to be flummoxed after hearing Parineeti's response and replied, "Arre..."

Parineeti Chopra might have said it in jest, but the comment seems to have irked Twitterati who pointed out the irony behind it.
Parineeti Chopra, who stunned fans and the industry with her new fit avatar, has been a victim of body shaming in the past.
In an earlier interview, the actress had said no one has the right to comment on how people look.
"This (body shaming) will soon become a past. Everything comes in phases. If you yourself are not comfortable about your body, do something about it. If you are comfortable, let it be. Other people have no right to comment anyway," Parineeti had said. (Read more)
