Ask him about his favourite city and pat comes the replyu00a0-- Mumbai. But Tusshar Kapoor convinces us that his answer is not just politically right, but comes straight from the heart. "Mumbai is like the New York of Asia. I'd say it's better than NY as it has Bollywood.

The zeal and enthusiasm of the city is like a drug, it perks you up instantly," says the Mumbai lad who will soon be seen playing yet another character from the city of dreams. Tusshar speaks to CS about all that this city means to him:

Bandra beat
I have been in my Mumbai since my birth. I did go abroad for undergrad studies, but returned soon. When I was a child, we used to live in Bandra and so I had a major Bandra-Pali Hill fixation. Bandra was the liveliest place then in whole of Mumbai.

I used to love the bohemian Bandra feel. So when my family decided to move to Juhu, it was really difficult. Back then, in early the 1990s, Juhu was nice and quiet; it was very hard to make friendsu00a0-- no nightlife, no clubs, the only thing famous about the place was it housed the bungalows of many filmstars.

Loyalty checku00a0
But eventually Juhu started growing on me and now after a decade and half, my loyalties have changed from Bandra-Pali Hill to Juhu-Andheri. With all the major multiplexes and food chains moving to the Juhu-Andheri belt, it is the new Bandra for me. Also, now with so many clubs here it is convenient. In fact, I have a club right next to my house where I go to exercise or play. And the proximity to Filmcity and the airports makes it a better place to live in.

Keeping up
In my college days, I was in love with South Mumbai. It was my favourite party destination and every weekend you'd have spotted me there. But today, just the thought of travelling to the town-side gives me a headache. Spending a hour-and-a-half in the car is so tiring, especially when I am not in the driver's seat.

Though with the Sea Link it is not so bad, but I still find it a nightmare. To me, SoBo has now become an old world charm. It hasn't changed at all for the last 15 years, whereas our lifestyles have drastically changed. It is a shift of energy from SoBo to Andheri.

Moreover, the city's like a chameleon, it changes every minute. If you started your day feeling low, you can't bet that you'll end the day feeling the same way. Change is the only constant in Mumbai and you need to be on your toes to match the pace of the city.
