The opening stunt of Khatron Ke Khiladi will be inspired by the star's favourite toons
Akshay Kumar's opening daredevilry stunt in Khatron Ke Khiladi 4 has been inspired by his favourite cartoon characters, Tom and Jerry.
In one of the episodes of the longest-running cartoon series,u00a0 the mouse Jerry swings on a hammock to play mischief on an irritated Tom. In KKK4, the Khiladi will be seen lounging on a hammock suspended from a chopper.
Akki's idea
The decision to have something similar to what he saw in the cartoon was the star anchor's own idea. The show airs in the first week of June.
Says a source, "Akshay loves to see Tom and Jerry. He enjoys watching it with his son, Aarav. He actually had the guts to turn this harebrained idea into a reality!"
Just like the cartoon
A channel source confirms, "Yes, it was the star's idea to incorporate the action sequence. He detailed the entire act himself just like he had seen in the cartoon. It was scary to see him get into the hammock and swing from a chopper. But Akshay was cool about it. The adrenaline rush is to be seen to be believed."
