After dabbling in the digital space, actor takes her fashion label to brick and mortar outlets in city
Sonam Kapoor
Seven months after she took to the digital medium to launch a high street fashion brand, Rheson, Sonam Kapoor is set to launch a series of brick and mortar outlets to reach out to a wider audience.
Talking about the brand, which she co-owns with sister Rhea, Sonam says, "We had tied up with a retail chain to enhance distribution. As a result, the brand is available in several places across the country. But, now we plan to open standalone stores, since that will give us direct access to customers."

Even though companies are increasingly turning to the online space to boost sales, Sonam says standalone stores will
enable the brand to "penetrate into different areas of the country." She adds, "The plan is to set up the first store in Mumbai, and then gradually do so in other cities too. Details are currently being chalked out."
Meanwhile, the sisters also intend to expand their collection. "We currently sell women's clothing and bags. We now plan to venture into menswear and accessories too," says Sonam, who wanted Rheson to be the "stylish, yet affordable line" that women were searching for in a market dominated by expensive brands.
