The trio also performed a small act from the Prabhu Deva film during the trailer launch.
"Every actor wants to do an action film and this is high on action and style. I am very excited about this film," Shahid told reporters at the event.
The action entertainer is co-produced by Eros International and producer Viki Rajani. The trailer will be attached to Abhinav Kashyap's "Besharam", which releases Wednesday.
"R...Rajkumar" will release Dec 6.
