We all know that he doesn't sleep too much because of his over-packed schedule. So we weren't too surprised when Shahrukh Khan made time for an interview with us at 1:30am, soon after an event.
The man who is always on the go is now gearing up to entertain us through a reality game show, Zor Ka Jhatka. The actor talks to CS about all that he finds entertaining:
Having a ball
I love playing football. Of late, due to hectic work schedules I have stopped playing, but very soon I plan to get back to it. I watch all the English Premier League matches, no matter what. I love sports and so do my kids.
I play soccer with them; it is one of my efforts to spend quality time with them. We also play cricket sometimes. I used to enjoy playing hockey, but since my kids don't play it, I've given it up too. When I am abroad, I go cycling with them. My son Aryan taught me how to skate board when we were in Berlin. So now, I can confidently do stunts on skates, that too without any retakes (laughs).
Ticket to fame
My aim as an actor has always been to entertain my audience. And I have reached this level in my career only by overcoming certain hurdles, but I still feel that I have a few left to cross. For example, I am not good looking enough for an actor, but I have overcome that hurdle through my acting skills.
I was a complete non-dancer when I came in the industry. People say that I am a good dancer, but I know my history. We all know that I was an outsider to the glamour world when I entered it, but I slogged it out to make it to where I am today. The biggest and the toughest challenge for me to overcome is smoking and I am trying really very hard!
Fame fatal
When I'm entertaining people, I get it right sometimes, and sometimes I mess up. When I do hit the right note, I try and make the good even better, and when I don't, I work harder to make it work. For me, the bottomline of success or failure is to work harder. Hard work is the only way to achieve success and maintain it. One thing that has always kept me grounded is the realisation that success and fame come with a gigantic responsibility!u00a0u00a0u00a0
