Salman, who has also worked with the 'Gangs of Wasseypur' actor in films like 'Kick' in 2014 and 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' in 2015, which minted over Rs.300 crores in India, took to micro-blogging website Twitter to wish the actor and the whole team goodluck.

"'Kick' and 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan ke baad Nawaz ki film 'Manjhi' release hogayi hai aaj wishing @Nawazuddin_S and the team all the best and a big hit," Salman tweeted on Friday night.

The Nawazuddin-starrer is a biopic on Dashrath Manjhi, a resident of Gehlaur village in Gaya district. The 'Mountain Man' had single-handedly cut through a hill to make a road for his village.

Manjhi died in 2007 in his early 80s.

Directed by Ketan Mehta, the biopic also stars Radhika Apte and hit the theatres on Friday.
