Ranbir Kapoor to replace Arshad Warsi as circuit in Munnabhai 3?

After the stupendous success of Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju, Rajkumar Hirani is mighty impressed with the actor's performance and transformation skills for the film. Following which, there are reports of Hirani considering Ranbir for Munnabhai 3. Talking about which, a Filmfare report has stated that Ranbir might replace the iconic character of 'circuit' essayed by Arshad Warsi in the last two installments of the franchise.

A source informed the portal saying, "Seeing Ranbir's performance in Sanju everyone is impressed. The makers believe Ranbir and Sanjay will share great on-screen chemistry considering their rapport with each other." However, there's no official statement or any announcement made by Hirani.

Ranbir and Sanjay Dutt made for a great onscreen pair in the special song, 'Baba Bolta Hai' in Sanju, and share a great rapport off screen as well. The duo has been roped by Yash Raj Films in their upcoming film, Shamshera, wherein Sanjay Dutt will play the antagonist opposite Ranbir Kapoor. It will have Vaani Kapoor playing the female lead.

Shamshera is about a dacoit tribe, in the 1800s, who fight for their right and independence from the Britishers.

Apart from this, Ranbir Kapoor is currently working on Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra with Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy. Nagarjuna plays a special role in this film.
