One would be mistaken to think that Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma quitting Twitter last month would put an end to his controversies. RGV, who is now active on Instagram, has kicked up yet another storm by posting an inappropriate picture of tennis player Sania Mirza.

RGV shared an ill-timed picture where Sania Mirza's underwear has been exposed while playing tennis. The filmmaker 'tried' to connect it with his short film 'Meri Beti Sunny Leone Banna Chaahti Hai', but failed miserably. While posting the snapshot, RGV narrated an incident about a girl whose father refused to let her play tennis beyond a certain age because she would have to wear skirts.

Ram Gopal Varma captioned the image, "A girl told someone,MBSLBCI reminded her of,though she was very good at Tennis her father refused to permit her to play beyond a age because she will have to wear skirts ..The film is about exposing these regressive minds who use a girl's sexuality against herself. (sic)"
