Kailash Kher
"The aim of the song is to celebrate women, not only for a day, but in every moment of life. It talks about the importance of respecting them," the Padma Shri recipient tells mid-day. Explaining why he decided to dedicate a song to the female population, Kailash Kher says, "I have been working on some projects with the NITI Aayog for a while and when they formed the Women Entrepreneurial and Innovation Cell, we wanted to come up with something meaningful. I feel it's my social responsibility to spread goodness through the talent that God has blessed me with."
The number will be launched in association with FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry) and the NITI Aayog at an event in Delhi tomorrow. It will be available on all digital music-streaming platforms. "The video stars real-life women who have struggled to become successful after starting from scratch."
