Colonel Muammar Gaddafiu00a0 of Libya is a little paranoid about his own safety. So he's now designed, what he calls the 'safest vehicle on earth'u00a0-- a car for himself. Even though there's very little known about this mean machine, CS gives you the limited dope that's now been made official:
>>u00a0It's called the Saroukh el-Jamahiriya, which means Libyan rocket.
>>u00a0The car is a five-seater saloon with the nose and tail of a rocket and is powered by a 230bhp V6.
>>u00a0Launched at a conference called the Organization of African Unity, the Libyan Rocket comes with airbags, an electronic defence system and collapsible bumpers that supposedly help out in a crash.
>>u00a0Apparently, no one knows what an electronic defence system is or how it works. But it is this system that makes the Rocket the safest car in the world.
