"I think Farah really suited the character. She played it so well that I don't think anyone else could have done it. I must say she is a born actress," Bela told reporters at the first look of the film 'Shirin Farhad ...' last night.
The movie is a romantic-comedy starring Farah and Boman Irani in the lead. "It is not a real life story. I had thought of this movie eight years ago and I wanted Boman and Farah only. And now, after eight years we made this film," Bela, sister of noted Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, said.
"The character of Farah needed weight. We did not require size zero kind of a heroine. It was a delight working with Farah," she said.
