Even though she has been advised bed rest for four months due to a back injury, Deepika Padukone has been utilising her time away from the set to read up as many scripts as possible. Sources say that the actor has been struggling to find a part that rests as much power in her hands as her act as Rani Padmavati from Padmaavat did.

While Padukone is hoping to work on a light-hearted venture after the demanding Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed project, she is hoping to find one that sees her at par with her male contemporaries. Deepika Padukone shouldn't have it any different, we think!
