The young actress prefers her birthdays to be a low-key affair too. As she turns a year older today, she plans to spend it indoors with mum Mana and dad Suniel Shetty.
Besides the mandatory midnight birthday cake cutting, she will host a dinner for close friends. Tiger Shroff's sister Krishna, who's Athiya's BFF, has a surprise for her.
