Ashmit Patel speaks on differences with sister Ameesha Patel

Ashmit Patel and Ameesha Patel aren't just Bollywood actors but also siblings, in case anyone was unaware. The rumours of their rift aren't new. In fact, these stories have been making to newspapers and the internet for a very long time. And breaking silence for the first time, the Murder actor has spoken about it.

Interacting with Hindustan Times, he said, "The stories have been floating for I don't know how long, I guess for over fifteen years. And what do you possibly explain or how much will you explain because I think people will think what they want to. Every day something new is being reported, so I don't know what the new speculation is."

He added, "She's my sister and I love her to death and I'd be there for her no matter what, through all the thick and thin. I've always been there for her, she can count on me and hopefully, I can also count on her for anything, anywhere and anytime."

Patel made his Bollywood debut with Vikram Bhatt's Inteha in 2003 and went on to do films like Murder, Dil Diya Hai, Fight Club, and Jai Ho. His web-series debut, The Bull Of Dalal Street, premiered on Ullu on February 21. As far as Ameesha is concerned, she had a historic debut with Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai and did one of the biggest blockbusters of Hindi Cinema, Gadar- Ek Prem Katha.
