After SRK, now Salman to turn superhero

Salman Khan to play a spy with super powers in Kabir Khan film. Is he trying to get one-up on his rival, Shah Rukh Khan?

Buzz is that Salman Khan will be playing a spy agent with super powers in Kabir Khan's next. For weeks, there has been speculation surrounding the nature of his role in the film.



While producers Yash Raj maintains that the cast isn't in place, a source reveals that Sallu's character is a spy agent with the ability to do superhuman things. Interesting, given that his foe Shah Rukh Khan is playing a super hero in his next Ra.Oneu00a0

Apparently, Khan is looking for fresher roles. When Kabir's film came to him, he was excited because of the superhero angle. A source close to the actor reveals, "The film will be shot all around the world at different locations.

It's an espionage thriller on the lines of X-Men where Salman plays an undercover officer as a spy who also has super abilities that are hidden from others. The film will have a lot of special effects."

At the moment Kabir and Salman are having several meetings regarding the look and nature of this particular character. Kabir Khan refused to confirm on the nature of Salman's role but cheekily said, "Salman is always a superhero!"

While the Yashraj spokesperson maintained, "the cast is not final yet. We will make an announcement when it is finalised."
