The makers of the Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer are planning to have a series of concerts for the promotion of the film. These hatke promotions are believed to be the brainchild of the lead actor.

Music composer Shantanu Moitra and the playback singers will belt out tracks from the movie. Sources state that the main leads will appear on stage while their songs are being played and do a little skit.

The concerts are being planned in Mumbai and a few other metros.This is part of the plan to add an element of uniqueness to the publicity drive. As the source puts it, "Rather than do the usual stuff, it has been decided to rope in the cast and crew to do something more.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, 3 Idiots is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's book Five Point Someone.

The source adds, "With Aamir known to take great interest in his film's promotions, everyone is putting their heads together to chalk out a plan to make it a singularly unique experience."
Hirani remained unavailable for comment.

Slated for a Christmas release, the film also stars Madhavan and Sharman Joshi.
