'Dil Dhadakne Do' goes awry

The shooting schedule of Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do apparently suffered a blow last week due to Farhan Akhtar's ill-health.

The actor-filmmaker-singer, who plays one of the main leads in his sister Zoya Akhtar's film, was down with viral fever last week and so was Shefali Shah, who also plays a crucial role in the film. As a result, the makers had to accommodate changes in their shooting schedule.

A source says, "Since two of their actors were unwell, the makers were forced to work with whoever was available for shooting. The idea was to not waste dates and shoot as much as possible.''

The source adds that the makers didn't want to cancel the schedule since getting other stars' dates wouldn't be an easy task.

When contacted, Ritesh Siddhwani denied that the film's schedule was affected in any way. "Nothing has upset the shooting schedule of the film. Both Farhan and Shefali are shooting for the film now," he said. Dil Dhadakne Do is a multi-starrer that features the likes of Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Shefali Shah, Anil Kapoor and Zarina Wahab.
