He broke into Bollywood's music scene alongside fellow singer-rapper Badshah with the Saturday, Saturday party number in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014). But Indeep Bakshi didn't get the kind of recognition his counterpart garnered. Recently, he had to fight for credits of Baar Baar Dekho music - he didn't know rap bits of the song Kala Chashma (recreated by Badshah) were borrowed from Don't Look At Me of his album, Billionaire.

Now, Indeep has decided to work independently. Speaking to hitlist, he says, "When we ventured into Bollywood music, I didn't consider singing as my profession; it was just a passion. But Badshah was completely into it. He was aware what was to be done when and where. We have decided to work individually. Now, whether I release singles or tracks for films, but they will only feature me," states Indeep, who took a break for two years after Saturday Saturday.

"I took a break to learn music. At this point, I consider writing, singing and composing as my profession. I've understood how my old content can be turned into commercially successful music," he adds.

The singer feels Indian music afficionados love rap culture.

"It has helped us introduce international style in Indian music, which the Indian youth loves. I feel such songs are peppy and act as stress busters," says Indeep, who released a new track, Bad Waali Feeling, recently. The song has already crossed 3.5 million views on YouTube.
