Mr. Pankaj Srivastava
Mr. Pankaj Srivastava established Precision Hydraulic Engineers back in the year 2000, with a well-articulated and determined vision of cost-effective and reliable hydraulic maintenance solutions. While most OEMs were offering meagre service options suggesting even the replacement of an entire assembly, PHE saw that as a unique opportunity. The company sought alternatives of quality designed to extend the life of machinery without bearing the very heavy costs associated with it. Motivated by principles of reliability and value for money, PHE gained rapid acceptance as a name in hydraulic servicing. Their motto summed their resolve to keep machinery working in smooth, continuous operation: "We make your system alive.".
The Early Days: Overcoming Challenges Starting out wasn't easy.
The spare parts were not easily available in their pristine forms, and PHE used spares purchased from Korea and the USA, among others. In a world teeming with 'cheap'; eventually, counterfeit components from China, among others, PHE did not compromise on their position of retaining authenticity in their solutions. It was in 2011 when PHE gained a major contract with Danfoss to get OEM spare parts directly from them. That was the start.
By 2017, PHE had established ties with world class brands such as Rexroth, Eaton, Parker and Linde to provide new varieties of quality parts to an increasingly large customer base.
A Vision for the Future
Keen on visions of the future, PHE envisions putting under one roof the largest hydraulic service facility in India with premier service solutions from major brands. Their vision would be that they are the leading company for premium hydraulic services not just in India but around the world as well. And, at the core of their pursuit is the state-of-the-art testing facility where every pump and every motor repaired and serviced undergoes the most careful assessment to ensure it delivers unrivalled performance and durability.
Commitment to quality and customers
Quality is non-negotiable at PHE. They firmly believe that while cheaper, lesser parts may give short-term savings, they ultimately result in greater long-term costs. This is why PHE uses original components and rigorous testing in all of its repairs for the extension of the equipment's life and the decrease of future breakdowns. Their philosophy, "Buy cheap, pay twice," explains why it resonates with customers who understand the value to be put into quality today to avoid unnecessary costs tomorrow.
PHE aims to build trust in quality through strategic partnerships and collaborations. The brand has a major contract with Danfoss, a leading OEM in the market and through this appointment they have become the authorised service partners from Danfoss that allows them to get original parts from Danfoss.
Transparency is yet another strong back of the PHE business model. Customers are completely transparent to see every step of the repair process, from disassembly to testing, thus building total confidence in what is being done. PHE further cements this mantra of trust and reliability by publishing reports and videos on the testing process. That they can win the trust of big fleet operators and OEMs alike through this extraordinary level of transparency and position them as the best hydraulic service provider is simply remarkable.
Horizons Expanded
PHE labours to explore the horizon and vision of tomorrow by leaping into the shipping industry and industrial hydraulics in neighbouring countries of Nepal and Bhutan. The company has reached ambitious emerging markets in the Middle East and Africa and there is good scope for growth.
Their strategic plan involves the manufacture of a new company through their recon pump brand through offering totally tested and reconditioned pumps with warranties. The clients are, therefore, provided with an economical yet reliable solution for rapid turnarounds at minimum downtime to their operations.
Building A Legacy
Besides business growth, PHE is committed towards larger service for the industry through quality training to the large number of engineers, educating over 100,000 professionals in hydraulics thus addressing a crucial gap in skills in the sector. More than 1,000 engineers have been successfully trained through their specialised training institute. Given that PHE bases its ideas on being the final one-stop hydraulic solution for world-class quality, reliability, and service only, Precision Hydraulic Engineers, with a solid foundation of trust and on its way to a brighter future, gears up and is ready to face the challenges and take the opportunities that tomorrow has in store.
