An eight year old girl or a ninety year old woman, any woman or girl is not safe in the country. In 2019, number of resignatred rape case were 32,032. The data says it all.

Everyone is aware of the problem but there is no solution available which can ensure that the woman is safe when her loved ones are not arcound.

Dhananjaya Gupta, founder of Safe Locket was really upset seeing the condition of female safety around the world, especially in India. Every time he heard some story in the news about assault or rapes it just infuriated him. And when the "2019 Hydrabad gang rape case" happened, he started thinking deeply about how a victim might feel in such scenarios.

Dhananjaya went on reading different cases and reports of how such incidents generally break out and how helpless a person can be in such situations and he came up with the solution.

Safe Locket is a high-fashion locket designed with great technology and has in-built GPS tracking, internet, and sim connection. This locket single handedly helps women feel safe. Compact in size, looks like a modern-day fashion accessory making it one of the coolest looking devices available to buy.

The user will have to wear the locket and if felt ever threatened, they simply have to press the locket. With this easy action, it sends an SOS message with their location to the user's selected primary contacts. Instantly their safe contact will be alerted and help is on their way. With Safe Locket, you are never alone or scared.

We want to make our country and the whole world a safer place. Ensuring that our loved ones always stay protected. Give comfort and a sense of security to those millions of people who at a certain time are scared and alone. To be a support system for many people is our goal. Safe Locket takes it as a responsibility to make the most powerful and high-tech products in tandem with high fashion. Our target is for 2 million people to be wearing Safe Lockets and keeping safe by the end of 2022.

Dhananjaya had an idea that we could have an accessory that people could wear at all times without it coming across as a device, it should be completely disguised just as a high fashion locket. And still, it should be one of the most high-tech and powerful devices that you could rely on with your life. A device, unlike literally all GPS tracking devices in the world that functions independently without the use of wifi, Bluetooth, or any other device support. A one-man army device. He came up with the idea of a Safe Locket.

He collaborated with IIT Kharagpur's Students, different engineers from around the globe, engineers and developers for Indian space organizations, and Indian defense engineers to develop his idea of Safe Locket.
The wearer presses the SOS button, a whatsapp text, cellular text message, and alerts on safe locket app are received to safe contacts. and Safe Locket app alerts with GPS location along with a small voice recording of whatever is happening presently. All this will happen by pressing your locket. Safe Locket also has fall detection, that is if the wearer falls down, it will detect that and send a message to your safe contact. You don't need to provide any internet or connection. Safe Locket comes preloaded with the internet, sim, etc, it has a battery life of up to 2 days and recharges instantly. The Safe Locket is weatherproof. That means you can literally take it anywhere with you, to mountains, beach, rains, etc.
