Mr. Nikhil M. Ruparel- Social Worker, Entrepreneur, Businessman and Visionary

As a social worker and well-known public figure, Nikhil Ruparel has won numerous awards for the services he has provided to the general public and senior citizens. Nikhil has been actively involved in the Indian National Congress since he was elected as the Bandra West President of the INTUC, recognised as the President of the Mumbai Youth INTUC progressing to First General Secretary of NSUI in 2016 & then National Delegate of NSUI in 2018.

By collaborating with numerous NGOs in the city through initiatives like book distribution, the introduction of free ambulance services, safety kits for festivals, organising multiple religious mandals for community development, medical camps, sporting events, self-defence camps, and different senior citizen healthcare services, Nikhil has made a significant impact.

Many people were moved by his actions during the 2020-2022 covid pandemic, when he offered free sanitization to multiple societies and areas, food distribution and health checks for the poor, as well as seven door-to-door vaccination programmes for those in need.

Nikhil was then appointed BMC convenor in 2021 and launched several efforts to improve our community. This included the Swachh Bharat Abhayan Cleanliness Drive, which had the goal of improving and making India cleaner so that there would be clean streets, societies, and public areas.

With his constant initiatives, social programmes, & youth development activities Nikhil has demonstrated that he possesses the necessary skills to serve as a young dynamic leader who envisions the betterment of society.
