Life is never a piece of cake, some people face a few hardships while others face a lot of hardships but if someone is determined enough then they can overcome any difficulties that come along the way. Sheetal Sonawane and Kimaya are one such mother-daughter duo who are an inspiration for many. Raising her daughter by herself, Sheetal never compromised with her daughter's upbringing and has always made sure to incorporate her with all the skills as a result her daughter Kimaya has successfully published two books at just nine years of age.

Sheetal Sonawane is not only an artist but is also a very talented architect and she also runs her own business. As per this art prodigy art serves many purposes and conveys a wide range of meanings. Nobody should tell a child how they should showcase their creativity. Performing art is as natural to a child as eating or breathing which is why Sheetal is so supportive of Kimaya's creativity. She believes that every indivisual's relationship to art shifts, changes, and becomes more complicated as they get older. Art begins to serve a variety of functions, ranging from assisting marketers in selling products to speaking truth to power. This can be clearly seen in Kimaya's upbringing which has been carefully crafted by Sheetal.

Talking about her journey, Sheetal shares, "I have always had a flair for art, and somehow my daughter Kimaya also got that. I and my daughter both love to share our art, our thoughts and our feelings through paintings and writing. I felt so proud when Kimaya drafted her first book, that feeling was truly unexplainable. In the near future also I see us exploring new things as there is no age for learning new things and eventually we would love to give this society more and more."

Someone correctly stated that any mother-daughter duo shares a beautiful bond that is irreplaceable. Sheetal is not only playing the role of a mother but also of a mentor, a helping hand, and the most trusted advisor of all time. It is a mum's the world for Kimaya quite literally. Recalling a past incident when they shifted back to India, Sheetal told, "I vaguely remember that we were walking pass the gaming zone in a mall in Mumbai when Kimaya wanted to play their but the tickets were quiet expensive. Hearing that thing she refused to play and insisted to have dinner and headback home. In return, When she rejected to play I told her, I am doing everything to fulfill your wishes and dreams. And on this Kimaya reverted me, what if my dreams are costly ?" Such incidents make us belive that right grooming and situation can help you in becoming a better from childhood.

Sheetal has always been supportive towards Kimaya's creativity as she truly believes that creativity is something which generates from within. She has always taught Kimaya that the world is like an oyster where one needs to find the pearls. One such incident happened when Kimaya made her first canvas in which she made both the sun and the moon together to which Sheetal didn't stop Kimaya as according to her it's Kimaya's sky and she can paint it in her own way. Thereby, giving wings to her dreams.

Art exposes people to new experiences and ideas that we may never have encountered before. These encounters allow us to look within because, as humans, we decide what we are seeing and feeling based on our emotional connection to the work of art.
