Meet Dr. Radhika Agarwal - The Foodie Devi and the List of Her Amazing Achievements

Dr. Radhika Agarwal is a dentist by education and a popular digital content creator by profession. She curates content related to food and runs a microblog called 'The Foodie Devi'. Radhika says that being a dentist was ambitious but food, writing and vlogging about it is her passion. From 2016 to date, Radhika has successfully created a name for herself in the Indian food blogging world with her lip-smacking content.

In 2016, when Radhika Agarwal was in her final year of college, she used to travel a lot. While travelling, Radhika explored and tasted different kinds of cuisines and dishes that helped her fall more into food. At that time, blogging wasn't quite mainstream. But she thought of noting down her likes and fondness for food and started her blog. After finishing college, in 2018, Agarwal decided to pursue food blogging as a full-time profession.

When asked how the experience has been so far, Radhika Agarwal shares, "When I started The Foodie Devi, I thought it would just be a hobby to introduce people to the innumerable delicacies around the world. However, the immense response and my passion to keep tasting new dishes and cooking helped me to grow a lot. I decided to make it my full-time profession. With time, the blogging industry gained great popularity and my work received more and more recognition. Hence, in 2018, I decided to dedicate my entire time and focus to growing the blog and captivating more foodie minds towards the various happiness platters I would cover."

Dr Radhika Agarwal's efforts didn't go unnoticed. In 2018, she won the Best Restaurant Reviewer award from the All India Food Bloggers Association in Mumbai. She also won Jaipur Mag's Best Food Blogger title in July 2018. The accolades list also includes Food Talent of The Year (All India) by Vigo Video in Kolkata in 2020, and Smart Folks Award 2020 by Jaipur Beat for creating the most engaging content during the lockdown. Radhika also has Bikaji & First India Food Awards' Best Food Blogger 2021 title presented by Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur and Mr Jagdeesh Singh Chandra. She was also recognised as the Guest of Honour for Food Blogging in Jaipur by Focus Bharat at the Jaipur Women Festival in November 2021 in the presence of the Mayor of Jaipur, Sheel Dhabai.
