St. Thomas More once wrote, "Lord, grant that I may be able in argument, accurate in analysis, strict in study, candid with clients, and honest with adversaries. Sit with me at my desk and listen with me to my client's plaints, read with me in my library, and stand beside me in court, so that today I shall not, in order to win a point, lose my soul."

This statement epitomizes the exceptional lawyer and individual that is Vikrant Rana. As a torch bearer of justice, he strives to bring about social change and development. From an early age, he was an active social worker who always wanted to bring about societal improvements. His passion saw him complete his LLB in Pune, and further his understanding of the intricacies of law at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, in 2010.

Hailing from Karnal, Haryana, he began his legal career in 2008 at Prabjeet Jauhar & Co. as an intern. Seeing his immense potential, the firm proceeded to hire him as a full-time lawyer. This was just the beginning of his transformative journey. He went on to work with some of the most respected and reputed law firms in India such as Universal Legal, Kochhar and Co., Barucha and Partners, etc.

During this period, he assisted Ram Jethmalani in several cases. His contribution in the cases was decisive and helped deliver justice to the clients. He continued his stellar performance in a number of landmark cases concerning the law of arbitration in India.

As of 2014, Vikrant has served as an Advocate at the Supreme Court of India. He has appeared in several cases in the Supreme Court and various High Courts concerning the arbitrability of disputes and other matters. Through solid arguments and ethical practices, he has established himself amongst the top lawyers of India.

Using his expertise in Comparative Constitutional and Civil Law, Vikrant ultimately seeks to provide timely justice to all his clients. The preservation of equality and respect for human dignity are, in his mind, key, and he considers them to be the embodiment of social change. He has held to these beliefs and standards all throughout his illustrious career, which as of this writing, spans over 15 years.

When asked about his journey, Vikrant has this to say;

"I feel privileged to be a part of this noble profession which strives to uphold the rights of each citizen of our society and to maintain the balance in society. Our legal system is criticized for delayed justice at times, but we lawyers along with other key stakeholders of the Indian Judicial system, wish to change this perception. Each day, when I step onto the premises of the court, I seek to maintain a fine blend of justice, equity, and good conscience in my practice. I strive to keep improving my performance to the best of my ability to perform my duty towards society."
