In the spirit of giving, Dr. Rekha Boyalapalli brought immense joy to 75 girls at Chaithanya Mahila Mandali rehabilitation center this Diwali. The national tennis player and founder of the Rekha Charitable Foundation turned her November 12th birthday into a heartwarming celebration for these vulnerable children.

Dr. Boyalapalli began the day by cutting a cake with the girls, who are victims of human trafficking, at the home located near Kavaguda, Samshabad. This was followed by a delicious dinner that she had specially arranged for the children.

In keeping with the festive day, Dr. Rekha Boyalapalli gifted crackers to the girls so they could experience the delight of Diwali. She lit up their faces by lighting crackers with them, allowing these underprivileged children to create joyful memories.

Dr. Boyalapalli's act of generosity on her birthday is a testament to her charitable nature. Her thoughtful celebration and heartwarming gesture reflects her commitment to helping those in need and spreading positivity. She has a vision to create long-term change for victims of trafficking with bold plans to construct a specialized shelter for these girls under her foundation next year.

The proposed shelter will provide housing, education, vocational training, and care to rehabilitate girls rescued from traffickers. Dr. Rekha Boyalapalli hopes to help these children heal, develop life skills, and equip them for a self-sufficient future.

Her expansive vision stems from interacting with the girls at Chaithanya Mahila Mandali. She realized tailored assistance is needed for minor victims after rescue.
