India vs New Zealand is not a very popular rivalry, but whenever they clash against each other, the results are always electrified. The Black Caps have faced Men in Blue nine times in the ICC World Cup. New Zealand is leading with five matches and India has won just three games out of seven and one match was abandoned.
The hosts have so far won all four matches played in the ICC World Cup 2023 and are on the second spot in the team ranking list. On the other hand, even New Zealand have won all four games played and is in the first spot in the team rankings. The battle will be between the no. one and no. two teams. Today, who will be successful in maintaining their winning streak?
The point to watch out for today's clash is who will take the place of the star all-rounder Hardik Pandya in Team India? Even Suryakumar Yadav is sustaining a hand injury. Will Ravichandran Ashwin get a chance in the squad? The Indian squad will definitely feel the absence of the all-rounder as Hardik Pandya used to provide an option of medium fast bowler as well as lower middle order batsman.
Kane Williamson has been ruled out from a few matches due to his thumb injury. Will stand-by captain Tom Latham continue leading the Kiwi's side in the absence of Williamson?
