I AM a hardcore Golden State Warriors fan. I really hope that they are back in the playoffs this season. Steph Curry has begun cooking the opponents, and the return of Klay Thompson to the side adds to the threat. Among the others, I feel the Memphis Grizzlies, Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Hornets seem promising. They're playing some exciting basketball. Though putting up a bunch of stars in a team, like the Brooklyn Nets and the Los Angeles Lakers have, doesn't always give consistent results but they should be good to watch as well.

I have been a San Antonio Spurs fan since 2013, this is a restructuring period for us but I am hopeful. I love the culture at the team and their player development. The coach, Gregg Popovich, has created a great team in San Antonio.
The Denver Nuggets and the Milwaukee Bucks are the teams I feel have a great chance at the playoffs this season. Nikola Jokic, the reigning MVP, is a great offensive threat and Jamal Murray's return from injury should add to Denver's offense. The current champions, Bucks, are surely fired up to keep the trophy in Milwaukee. It is a cohesive team that has gone to bring in some good players to further help Giannis Antetokounmpo with the
offensive load.

I am a Los Angeles Lakers fan. We have some great offensive tools right now with the likes of Carmelo Anthony, Russel Westbrook and the return of Rajon Rondo to the point guard position. Lebron James is still an offensive juggernaut and I am expecting them to make another run to the conference and the league finals this season. I feel the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat are really improved sides in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls have brought in some amazing talents and look really good as a team. The Miami Heat is playing great basketball with precise ball movements and player involvement as well. It is a really competitive season.
My picks: Shams Charania (The Athletic), Adrian Wojnarowski and Brian Windhorst (ESPN)
