Acclaimed Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra recently wrapped up shooting for the much-anticipated film 'Chamkila', directed by Imtiaz Ali and co-starring Diljit Dosanjh. The movie narrates the life story of the late singer Amar Singh Chamkila, with Chopra portraying the character of his wife, Amarjot Kaur. This intense cinematic venture is now in post-production, leaving Parineeti free to pursue other projects.

Earlier in the year, the announcement of 'Shiddat 2', featuring Sunny Kaushal and Parineeti Chopra, had created quite a stir in the industry. The original 'Shiddat' starred Sunny Kaushal along with Radhika Madan, and expectations were high for its sequel. However, due to a clash in Parineeti's schedule, she was unable to commit to the film, leading to her eventual withdrawal from the project.

At that time, Parineeti and Dinesh Vijan mutually decided to part ways, with a promise to collaborate on a different project. As per reports by Pinkvilla, it appears that an exciting script has caught their eye, and preparations are already underway at Maddock Films.

Apart from Parineeti, who will ostensibly play a bubbly character in the yet-to-be-titled film, the project is rumored to also feature eminent actor Anupam Kher in a key role. Further details about the plot, other cast members, and release dates have been under wraps, keeping fans and industry insiders on their toes.

In addition to her professional commitments, Parineeti is reportedly planning to tie the knot with fiance Raghav Chadha later this year. Sources suggest that the couple has been scouting for wedding locations in the picturesque city of Udaipur. It is expected that she will begin shooting for the musical film before her wedding, rumored to be in November.
