Jawan: Alia Bhatt wittily replies to her mention in trailer, says, 'poori duniya ko chahiye sirf SRK'

Jawan's trailer has been receiving a lot of love since its launch. It has everything one could have asked for. There's action, drama, revenge, romance, dance, and of course, Shah Rukh Khan's trademark wit. In one of the key sequences, the superstar's character hijacks a metro train and takes the passengers hostage for an undisclosed purpose. When a person asks him on a walkie-talkie, "What do you want?" Shah Rukh wittily replies, "I want Alia Bhatt."

Now the little one, as SRK calls her, has reacted to the trailer. While taking to her Instagram story Alia reshared Jawan's trailer and wrote, "Aur poori duniya ko chahiye sirf SRK@IAMSRK.. What fabulous fabulous trailer!!!!!! 7TH September tooooooo far away"

For the unversed, Shah Rukh and Alia worked in Gauri Shinde's ‘Dear Zindagi' in 2016. SRK also launched the teaser of Alia's film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. The two even collaborated and co-produced Alia's film ‘Darlings'.

The official synopsis of the film reads, "Jawan is a high-octane action thriller which outlines the emotional journey of a man who is set to rectify the wrongs in society." Deepika Padukone will be seen in a cameo in Jawan. The trailer also features several shots of the actress. However, details of her role are kept under wraps.

Sharing the trailer of Jawan on Instagram, Shah Rukh wrote, "Of Justice & A Jawan. Of Women & their Vengeance. Of a Mother & A Son. And of course, a lot of Fun!!! Ready Ahhh!!! #JawanTrailer out now! #Jawan releasing worldwide on 7th September, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu."

Jawan's trailer will be displayed on Burj Khalifa in Dubai today. Making the announcement on August 28, Shah Rukh wrote on X, "Jawan ka jashn main aapke saath na manau yeh ho nahin sakta. Aa raha hoon main Burj Khalifa on 31st August at 9 PM and celebrate JAWAN with me. And since love is the most beautiful feeling in the world, toh pyaar ke rang mein rang jao and lets wear red...what say? READYYYY!"
